The Great Baltic Touring Route is a flexible self-drive tour that provides independent travellers with the freedom to gain an authentic experience of the Baltic states of
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You choose to fly into the historic cities of Tallinn, Riga or Vilnius and pick up your car in one city and drop it off in the other. On the way you will stay in an array of authentic accommodation from manor houses and spas to farm stays and hotels, all selected to let you experience a unique perspective of the Baltic states.
You select and book your type of hire car and accommodation via the Great Baltic Touring Route website www.GreatBalticTouringRoute.com or www.gbtr.info. Your car is then delivered to your hotel in Tallinn, Riga or Vilnius along with your accommodation itinerary. Three suggested routes provide you with an authentic experience but you are free to design your own adventure and explore the region at your own pace.
